Ingredients:1 kg of sugar ½ a litre of egg whites Preparation:Put 900g of sugar in a saucepan with enough water to achieve a syrup. Whisk the egg whites with a blender until light. Add the final 100g of sugar to the egg whites little by little. Add the egg whites and sugar to the syrup whilst slowly stirring. Whisk for a bit longer and put inside a piping bag. Squeeze out the meringue into your preferred shape. Decorate with cinnamon or chocolate. These meringues are sometimes also toasted in the oven. | ||||
