Ingredients for 4 people:1 kg of beef 700g of potatoes 2 garlic cloves 2 medium sized onions 1 glass of white wine 1 bay leaf 5 tablespoons of olive oil 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley Salt, to taste Preparation:Peal one garlic clove and chop finely. Wash the meat, dry it with kitchen roll and cut into rectangular chunks. Remove the fat and mix the chunks with the chopped garlic. Leave for 1 hour. Season the meat with salt and fry in a pan with hot olive oil, until it browns. Peel and chop the onions. Then fry them with the meat. While the meat is frying, chop the bay leaf, peel and chop the remaining garlic clove and crush all in a mortar with the parsley and the paprika. Then mix with the white wine. Put this mixture into the pan and cook until the meat in tender. Add some water if the meat gets too dry. Serve with chips. | ||||
