Ingredients for 6 people:200g of beans 1 kg of chard 3 tablespoons of olive oil 3 garlic cloves 8 almonds 1 dry red pepper 12 cumin 1 large ripe tomato 150g of chorizo sausage in slices 1 teaspoon of paprika 100g of breadcrumbs soaked in water Vinegar 1 cup of olive oil Salt Preparation:Soak the beans in water overnight. The next day, cook them in half a litre of water and a bit of salt until they are tender. Clean the chard, use only the leaves, wash them and chop them. Peal the garlic and finely chop the tomato. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic and the almonds. Take them out and put to one side. In the same oil, fry the chorizo sausage and the tomato. After a short time cooking, add the chard. Continue cooking on a low heat for 5 minutes. Then add the paprika and mix well. Add all of this to the pan of beans. Crush the garlic, cumin, almonds and soaked breadcrumbs in a mortar. Add this mixture to the saucepan. Season with a pinch of salt, add the dry pepper cut in chunks and cook a little bit longer. | ||||
